Upcoming Details On FF X?

Recently the Japanese magazine Dengeki-oh talked to six gaming publishers and asked them about their
thoughts on the future of gaming over the next few years. Squaresoft decided this would be
a good opportunity to start hyping up Final Fantasy X. The representative from Square replied
to the question with the following:
"Surely the biggest is FF X. However, in addition, we have the FF movie, PlayOnline, the
Wonder Swan; we really have lots of things coming up next year. But the details are still ...
secret (laughs). Anyway, for the opening of the New Year (translator's note- the connotation
from the rep's words usually refers to the first two weeks of January), we would like to make
an announcement regarding FF X, in some form or another. Please look forward to it."
Final Fantasy X is slated to be released in Japan this March. That doesn't leave them a
whole lot of time to get the game hyped up so they'll probably release a lot of information
on it in January.
