Voice Acting in FF X

More information has been leaking out of the conference that's currently being held in Japan.
The newest information released on Final Fantasy X is that that characters will be given
voices. This will be the first time this has happened in the Final Fantasy series. The main
character, Tide, will be given a voice by Akira Ishida (Fisheye in Sailor Moon, Kaworu in Neon
Genesis Evangelion, and Alex in Lunar 1). No other voice actors have been named yet.
In all the past FF games, players have always developed their own voices for the characters.
This will be a pretty controversial issue, but no matter what the players thoughts are, the game
will sell just because it has the Final Fantasy name on it.
