The first ever sequel to a Final Fantasy game, FFX-2 will likely be a topic of controversy among Final Fantasy fans. The only FFX characters confirmed to be in the game are Yuna and Rikku. It seems they will be the main characters along with a newcomer named Pain. The game is rumored to feature a more action oriented battle system. Yuna will be able to jump, crawl, and duck while sporting skimpy clothing and a pair of tomb raider style pistols. It also appears tham job classes will be returning for really the first time since FFV. Characters will be able to change classes which in turn will change their outfit. As for the story, Yuna and her pals are apparently now part of the "Kammone" clan and they travel Spira collecting...spheres. Now, the story would be pretty boring without an antagonist, so the Kammone will be rivals with the "Lubran" clan. Keep in mind that these are very preliminary details. FFX-2 is scheduled for Japanese release sometime in March 2003. No official announcement has been made regarding a release in the Western world.
