The name Red XIII is the name that he was given when he was being tested on by Hojo. His
real name is Nanaki. He is a fierce beast with very high intelligence. He can produce some
pretty strong attacks. Although he's an animal, he can speak english. You learn more about his
background as the game goes on.

Stars fall from the sky onto the enemy party. This causes some pretty good damage. |
| Level 3 |
Howling Moon |
A full moon appears and causes Red XIII to go a little insane. He will have Haste and Berserk status for the rest of the battle. During this phase though he cannot use items or magic. |
| Earth Rave |
Red XIII attacks the enemy party with all five elemental attacks. This causes awesome damage! |
| Level 4 |
Cosmo Memory |
Red XIII hurls a huge ball of fire at the enemy party which engulfs them causing incredible damage! To get this limit, defeat the Lost Number boss in the Shinra Mansion. He is located in the Safe, that's in the mansion. The combination for the safe is right 36, left 10, right 59, right 97. |
