Ruby Weapon | Emerald Weapon The Emerald Weapon and the Ruby Weapon are the two strongest creatures in the game. They were included specialy for the North American version of the game, they don't appear in the Japan version. Beating these two weapons is optional in the game, but if you can manage to defeat them you will get some pretty cool stuff. The Ruby Weapon hangs out in the desert around the Golden Saucer and the Emerald weapon hangs out in the Ocean. If you try to challenge these guys early on in the game you'll get wasted, trust me, I speak from experience. You can see specific information on these 2 Weapons by clicking on the above links. These two creatures make Sephiroth look powerless. I wasn't even able to beat these 2 creatures. There are a few items though that will make the battles much easier. Having the right materia equiped will also really help you in this battle. You most likely won't be able to beat these guys until you're right at the end of the game.
